How to use?
1. Wet the adakama stones before using in potted plants.
2. Use alone or mix with other soil in bonsai plants.
3. Replace within 2 years to avoid soil compaction caused by breakdown.
NOTE: Our hard adakama is mined from volcanic soil, so particles may break and produce dust during transportation, so be careful to avoid inhaling dust. Wear a mask, a pair of glasses and gloves to protect yourself when you use the rocks.

I really like this I bought it to repot some orchids. It works great and I would definitely buy it again. It fills up the pot and it's very absorbent. I'm not really happy about it made in china but I bought it anyway.
i have used this to provide more drainage and aeration when potting up my plants, and also as a top dressing, and works well in both cases. I also like how the rocks turn into vibrate colors when wet.
The lava rocks are also lightweight and the small size makes it great for potting up plants and not be worried about root damage.
